On July 22, 1999, Central Avenue School and Cleveland Court School in Lakeland, Florida, were added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
- Central Avenue School, located at 604 South Central Avenue, was built in 1926.
- Cleveland Court School, located at 328 East Edgewood Drive, was built in 1927.
Both schools were recognized for their historical and architectural significance as early public educational facilities in Lakeland. Their inclusion on the National Register documented their role in the city’s development and preserved their status as historic structures.
