Hillsborough County – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 resulted in the death of a motorcyclist Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:53 a.m. on September 19, 2025, southbound on I-275 north of Bearss Avenue, near the 56 Milepost.
Troopers reported that Vehicle 1, a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 34-year-old man from Bushnell, was traveling southbound when it attempted a lane change and collided with Vehicle 2, a Nissan Rogue driven by a 40-year-old Tampa woman.
Following the impact, the motorcyclist came to rest along the inside shoulder, while the motorcycle traveled into the path of Vehicle 3, a Toyota RAV4 driven by a 62-year-old man from New Port Richey. The RAV4 then struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The drivers of the Nissan Rogue and Toyota RAV4 were not injured.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
