Lake Wales, FL – On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Lake Wales Police Department and Lake Wales Fire Rescue responded to a fatal crash on Chalet Suzanne Road at the WaWa gas station entrance.
A 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle, traveling eastbound, collided head-on with a 2017 Ford F-150 driven by 20-year-old of Arcadia, who was traveling westbound and attempted a left turn into the WaWa entrance. The motorcycle then slid into a 2008 Dodge truck stopped at a stop sign, preparing to turn onto Chalet Suzanne Road. The collision caused both the motorcycle and the Dodge truck to catch fire.
Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been positively identified. The Lake Wales Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating.
