According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a shooting occurred early this morning (on April 6, 2025), on Interstate 4 west of Interstate 275, at approximately 2:28 AM.
A 34-year-old man from St. Petersburg, driving a Honda CR-V westbound, observed several motorcyclists operating erratically alongside another unidentified vehicle. The driver began filming the motorcyclists with his cell phone when one of them, riding adjacent to the victim, fired several rounds from a handgun. Multiple bullets struck the Honda, but the driver was not injured.
The suspected shooter is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a jacket bearing an “Outlaws MC” logo.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at *FHP (*347) or Crime Stoppers at **TIP.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
