Clearwater Police Department Press Release:
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a traffic crash with serious injuries this evening at Sunset Point Road and Belcher Road. The crash occurred at 8:14 p.m. and involved a moped and another vehicle. The operator of the moped was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital as a trauma alert with potential life-threatening injuries. The other driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Motorists should avoid the Belcher/Sunset Point intersection tonight.
