Orlando, FL – March 27, 2025 – The Orlando Police Department responded to a battery incident at Universal’s Volcano Bay, the popular water theme park located at 6801 Turkey Lake Road in Orlando, Florida.
According to the arrest affidavit, a deputy arrived at the park’s security room and interviewed a Volcano Bay employee. The employee stated he was working when he heard a female yell “Hey!” before being struck by a rock and identified the suspect as Raedean Marie Andrews, 28, of Michigan. It remains unclear what provoked the woman to commit the act.
The Volcano Bay employee sustained injuries, according to the arrest affidavit, and pressed charges. Deputies collected photo and video evidence of the incident. The woman was arrested without incident in the security room, charged with aggravated battery under F.S.S. 784.045-4, and transported to Orange County Jail. Nothing further at this time.
