Hillsborough County, FL – December 8, 2025 – At approximately 7:52 a.m., a single-unit commercial truck traveling southbound on Interstate 75 north of Big Bend Road was involved in a crash.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Tampa, suffered a medical emergency, lost control of the truck, entered the median, struck a guardrail, returned to the travel lanes, and overturned.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A passenger in the truck, a 35-year-old man from Tampa, was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Nothing further at this time.
