– Initial Report –
Orange County, FL – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on August 3, 2025, at 8:57 PM, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 436 (Semoran Boulevard) and State Road 50 (Colonial Drive). Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Crespo-Hernandez and Corporal Nappier are investigating.
An unknown dark-colored sedan, traveling southbound on State Road 436, struck a 48-year-old male pedestrian from Casselberry, FL. The pedestrian was in a wheelchair, moving west across State Road 436, outside a marked crosswalk, and in the path of the vehicle. The driver of the sedan fled the scene after the collision.
The pedestrian was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and pronounced deceased. Next of kin have not been notified. The sedan’s make and model are unknown. No information on the driver’s gender, age, or use of seatbelts is available.
