Pinellas Park, FL – On September 5, 2025, Anthony David Johnson, a 41-year-old white male born on December 2, 1983, was arrested at 13200 49th Street N, Pinellas Park, following an investigation by local detectives.
The investigation began after an 11-year-old student from Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School reported being sexually abused by Johnson, who was initially believed to be a family member but was later determined to have no familial relation to the victim.
The investigation revealed that the victim had been subjected to ongoing sexual abuse over several years while residing in Johnson’s home. The victim stated that the abuse began when she was approximately five years old.
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) assisted throughout the investigation, facilitating the safe placement of the victim and her family. Two additional juveniles residing in Johnson’s home were removed and placed in the care of their family members.
Johnson was charged with sexual battery on a child under the age of twelve and lewd and lascivious molestation by an adult on a child under the age of twelve. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail and booked on the aforementioned charges.
