Lakeland, FL – On Friday, October 10, 2025, at approximately 8:00pm, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting that occurred near the 2000 block of Delrose Dr N, where an adult male was shot in the arm in what appears to be a targeted attack, according to the PCSO.
A neighbor told our news team that he heard multiple gunshots before officers arrived on the scene. Deputies worked quickly to render aid to the victim and secure the area while EMS staged nearby. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
No details about the suspect have been released, and it remains unclear whether the suspect and victim are known to each other. The investigation is ongoing. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. Nothing further at this time.
