
The Florida Lottery announced that a Polk County woman got lucky, winning a $5 million top prize from the Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off game. The lucky ticket was purchased at Murphy USA, located at 2048 Sam Walton Way in Lake Wales. After taxes, the winner received a lump-sum payment of $3,960,000.
The Murphy USA store will also receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. To protect the privacy of the individual, we have decided not to release the identity of the winner.
