KISSIMMEE, FL — The City of Kissimmee will host a free Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 25, 2026, providing residents with a secure way to dispose of sensitive documents.
The drive-thru event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kissimmee City Hall. Residents may bring up to two boxes of paper materials per vehicle for on-site shredding and recycling.
City staff will collect documents while participants remain in their vehicles. Only paper items will be accepted; binders, metal, and plastic materials cannot be processed. Service will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
City Clerk Tameara Crespo said the event offers a convenient way for residents to protect personal information while supporting environmental efforts.
The initiative is part of the City’s ongoing focus on public safety and environmental stewardship. Additional information is available at kissimmee.gov/shredit.
