Orange County, FL. — According to the Florida Highway Patril, on July 20, 2025, at approximately 5:13 a.m., a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 453 and State Road 429 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The incident, investigated by Trooper Ndoumbe and Corporal Swisher, involved a 2018 Honda Accord.
The vehicle, driven by a 24-year-old female from Lake Mary, was traveling on the northbound State Road 429 entrance ramp from State Road 453. The driver was traveling above the posted speed limit and failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway to the right and strike a concrete overpass support.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was wearing a seatbelt. The next of kin has been notified.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
