According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on June 15, 2025, at approximately 7:56 PM, a 62 year-old woman from Fort White, driving a Nissan Murano, was traveling eastbound on Denton Avenue. West of East Road, she lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and struck a utility pole. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the collision. The road was temporarily closed for emergency response and investigation. Nothing further at this time.
