
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Dutil, 44, was arrested on March 22, 2025, after driving his Nissan SUV into a group of protesters at a Tesla dealership in Palm Beach County.
The incident occurred during a protest against Elon Musk and Donald Trump, organized by the Democratic Progressive Caucus Palm Beach County. Andrew drove onto the curb at a slow speed, forcing protesters to move, though no injuries occurred. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and is currently held in jail.
The suspect social media reflects support for Trump and criticism of electric vehicles. The protest is part of ongoing nationwide demonstrations against Musk and Tesla, with more planned at the West Palm Beach dealership. Nothing further at this time.
