Orlando, FL – Monday, October 6, 2025 — A fatal crash occurred on Epcot Center Drive, west of I-4, involving four vehicles: an electric bicycle, a 2016 Honda Civic, a 2018 Ford Fusion, and a 2021 Toyota Camry. All were traveling westbound. The bicycle, ridden by a 40-year-old Orlando man, moved into the path of the Civic, driven by a 57-year-old Orlando woman. The Civic hit the bicycle, causing a chain-reaction crash with the Fusion, driven by a 63-year-old Saint Cloud man, and the Camry, driven by a 30-year-old Orlando man with a 24-year-old Orlando male passenger.
The bicycle rider was taken to AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Civic driver was treated at the same hospital for minor injuries. The Fusion driver, Camry driver, and Camry passenger were unharmed and stayed at the scene. The bicycle rider was not wearing a helmet. The drivers and passenger in the cars were wearing seatbelts. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
