The westbound lanes of Interstate 4 in Davenport were fully closed on Thursday evening, February 19, 2026, at approximately 7:20 p.m. due to a depression in the roadway. The closure affected the stretch between Exit 55 and Exit 58 (ChampionsGate area near Davenport/US-27).
Traffic was diverted, with westbound motorists directed to exit at Exit 58. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) crews responded to assess and repair the depression. Repair work continued overnight for approximately 12 hours.
