Zephyrhills, FL -On October 27, 2025, at approximately 6:08 AM, a three-vehicle crash occurred on US-98 north of CR-54, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.
A Kia K5, driven by a 24-year-old man from Davenport, was traveling northbound when it entered the southbound lane and collided nearly head-on with a Dodge Caliber, driven by a 47-year-old man from Spring Hill. A Toyota Corolla, driven by a 26-year-old man from Spring Hill, was traveling southbound behind the Dodge Caliber and collided with it after the initial impact.
The driver of the Dodge Caliber suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the Kia K5 sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the Toyota Corolla was uninjured. Nothing further at this time.
