Dade City, FL. — A 34-year-old Dade City man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Blanton Road early Monday morning, authorities reported.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when the man, operating a Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Blanton Road, failed to navigate a curve east of Lake Iola Road. The motorcycle overturned, veered off the roadway, and struck a street sign and a tree on the shoulder.
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
