Kissimmee City Hall Recognized with Downtown Beautification & Innovation Award

Kissimmee, FL. –  The City of Kissimmee’s City Hall has been named the recipient of the 2025 Downtown Beautification & Innovation Award, presented by the Downtown Kissimmee Council (DKC).

This award honors businesses and organizations in Downtown Kissimmee that have made significant improvements that contribute to a more beautiful, dynamic, and distinctive downtown area. The DKC Board of Directors unanimously selected City Hall and its Rain Garden as the second honoree of the year.

As the city continues implementing public infrastructure improvements, including updates to City Hall, this recognition highlights the city’s intentional work in creating inviting, innovative spaces that foster community engagement.

“Our city officials, staff, and community partners are committed to making Downtown Kissimmee an attractive and thriving hub for businesses, residents, and visitors,” said Kissimmee Mayor Jackie Espinosa. “This award reflects our focus on growth, investment, and creating a welcoming environment for all.”

The award was presented to Mayor Jackie Espinosa and city officials during a visit to City Hall on Thursday, July 17, 2025. As part of the recognition, a commemorative sign will be displayed at the Rain Garden for three months, and the recognition will also be showcased in the City Hall lobby.
