On March 15, 2025, a deadly tornado outbreak struck Dixie Alley, tearing through Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, with a death toll reaching 26 tonight. The National Weather Service’s rare high-risk warning produced multiple destructive tornadoes, leveling homes and businesses. Emergency officials confirmed 12 deaths in Mississippi, 9 in Alabama, and 5 in Tennessee, with rural areas near Jackson, Mississippi, and Huntsville, Alabama, hit hardest.
