The City of Bartow will activate eight red light cameras on April 21, 2025, targeting high-traffic zones along the Hwy 17 corridor and SR 60 (Van Fleet) as a safety measure, announced during Monday’s City Commission meeting.
The cameras will have a 30-day grace period, with the citation live period beginning May 21, 2025. The Bartow Police Department emphasized that this program aims to enhance community safety, particularly as most violations captured by sample cameras involved transient traffic passing through the city.
