Bartow, FL – On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Landon Blake Sanchez (DOB: 03/11/2003) , on ten counts of enhanced possession of child pornography, a second-degree felony under Florida State Statute 775.0847.
The investigation began on March 25, 2025, following a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, prompted by Dropbox. The report indicated that on March 4, 2025, an account linked to Sanchez uploaded multiple files containing child sexual abuse material. Authorities confirmed the account was associated with his email address, verified on December 5, 2019, and tied to Sanchez through subscriber data from Google and Comcast.
Investigators reviewed five initial files reported by Dropbox. A subsequent Dropbox response on October 6, 2025, revealed ten video files of child sexual abuse material involving victims aged 6 to 11. The files met criteria for enhanced charges under Florida law due to the possession of ten or more images, including at least one video depicting sexual battery of a child.
Subpoenas served to Comcast and Google confirmed Sanchez as the account owner. Additional evidence linked a phone number associated with the account to Sanchez through motor vehicle records.
Sanchez faces ten counts of enhanced possession of child pornography, reclassified from a third-degree to a second-degree felony due to the nature and volume of the material.
