Kissimmee, FL – The City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department invites dog owners and their furry companions to participate in Barktoberfest, a seasonal dog swim event designed for pets to splash, play, and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon.
For only $5 per dog, participants can enjoy an afternoon of dog-friendly swimming, pet activities, and local specialty vendors. The event will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center, located at 2204 Denn John Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34744.

Event Guidelines:
All dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination.
All dogs will undergo an aggression screening before entering the facility. Dogs showing signs of aggression will not be permitted to participate.
Owners are welcome to accompany their pets in the water but may not swim. Entry into the pool is limited to knee height for safety.
