Avelo Airlines has announced the resumption of nonstop flights to Atlanta and the introduction of seasonal service to Detroit from Lakeland International Airport (LAL). A second Avelo aircraft will be based at LAL.
New routes from LAL include:
- Atlanta (ATL): 5 times weekly, starting February 13, 2026
- Detroit (DTW): 2 times weekly, starting February 11, 2026
