AUBURNDALE, FL – The Auburndale Police Department has arrested 26-year-old Jesus Moisesbravo Beltran (DOB:12/31/1998) after he traveled approximately 2,900 miles from Umatilla, Oregon, to Auburndale to meet a 15-year-old juvenile. The arrest followed a hit-and-run report on November 29, 2025, at approximately 9:57 a.m. at the Walmart located at 2120 US Highway 92 West, where officers located Beltran’s vehicle and found the juvenile in the passenger seat. Beltran now faces seven charges, including multiple felonies related to sexual offenses against the minor.
Upon contact, the juvenile’s mother arrived, retrieved the juvenile’s phone, and discovered text messages containing sexually explicit content, photographs, and videos sent by Beltran. Detectives confirmed the phone number belonged to Beltran.
According to APD, the juvenile reported losing consciousness after consuming alcohol provided by Beltran and later regaining consciousness to find her shorts removed while Beltran was sexually assaulting her.
Beltran was booked into the Polk County Jail and initially charged with:
- Transmission of material harmful to minors by electronic device (3rd-degree felony)
- Unlawful use of a two-way communication device (3rd-degree felony)
- Lewd and lascivious molestation (2nd-degree felony)
- Traveling to meet a minor (2nd-degree felony)
- Interference with child custody (3rd-degree felony)
Following the forensic interview, two additional charges were filed:
- Lewd and lascivious battery (victim 12 or older but under 18, defendant 18 or older) (1st-degree felony)
- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (1st-degree misdemeanor)
Beltran is being held without bond at the Polk County Jail. Nothing further at this time.
