AdventHealth to Purchase $9.4M Land in Osceola County’s NeoCity for Future 200-Bed Hospital Campus

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL — The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has approved a purchase-and-development agreement with AdventHealth for 20 acres at NeoCity South. The agreement allows AdventHealth to acquire the land for $9.4 million.

AdventHealth plans to develop a health care campus in phases over eight years. The project includes a hospital with a minimum of 80 beds, expandable to 200 beds, along with medical offices.

The site is located near the future intersection of Cross Prairie Parkway and Nolte Road/Florida Turnpike Interchange. NeoCity South is a 320-acre county-owned property designated for economic development.

AdventHealth operates existing facilities in Osceola County, including hospitals in Kissimmee and Celebration, the Partin Settlement ER and health park, and an ER in Poinciana.

Commissioner Brandon Arrington, Chairman of the Board, stated that the decision prioritizes resident health and involves partnerships for healthcare expansion.

Doug Harcombe, CEO of AdventHealth’s South Market in Central Florida, stated that the project aims to provide care in the NeoCity South area.
