On the evening of August 19, 2025, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting reported near Reynolds Road in Lakeland, Florida.
According to the sheriff’s office, three individuals were parked in a vehicle on Skyview, allegedly using drugs, when an unidentified vehicle approached and fired multiple shots, striking the windshield. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.
The victims drove to Reynolds Road, where they encountered deputies and reported the incident. Authorities found significant quantities of marijuana and cocaine, along with packaging materials and drug paraphernalia, inside the victims’ vehicle. All three individuals have prior criminal records.
The investigation remains ongoing as deputies work to identify the suspect vehicle and its occupants. Nothing further at this time.
