Pasco County, FL. — According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), on August 16, 2025 a fatal traffic crash occurred at approximately 1:36 a.m. on US-19, just north of Flora Avenue.
Investigators reported that a Chevy Silverado driven by a 32-year-old Clearwater man, was traveling southbound on US-19. The Silverado overtook an Audi sedan driven by a 27-year-old Gibsonton man, which was slowing or stopped for other traffic.

The Silverado failed to slow or stop and struck the rear of the Audi. An eight-month-old male child, the son of the Audi’s driver, was secured in a car seat in the rear seat. The child sustained serious injuries in the collision, was transported to a local hospital, and later died as a result of those injuries.
FHP stated that Bravo was determined to be impaired with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.089. He was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
