The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation in Tampa.
On June 5, 2025, at 12:25 a.m., deputies responded to the 500 block of Jeanal Place following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located a woman outside the home with a lower body injury. Inside the residence, a man was found deceased with upper body trauma.
Through investigative means, detectives learned the two individuals were involved in an altercation that escalated to gunfire.
The man’s identity will be released once next of kin has been notified.
