The City of Bartow has launched a Strategy and Performance Dashboard accessible to the public via the city’s website at cityofbartow.net/541/Strategy-and-Performance-Dashboard.
The dashboard displays performance data tied to strategic sections of the city’s budget for all departments and divisions, including Utilities, Sanitation, Police, Fire, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts, Public Works, Code Compliance, and Planning.
The system tracks more than 150 major initiatives aligned with goals set by the City Manager and approved by the City Commission. These goals include becoming an employer of choice, creating cleaner and safer neighborhoods, maximizing technology and innovation, and maintaining strong financial health.
Data will be updated on the 15th of each month.
City staff will use the dashboard for operational management and to inform budget and resource allocation decisions. The platform is also intended to provide transparency to residents regarding the use of tax dollars.
