City of Kissimmee Press Release:

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The City of Kissimmee Fire Department invites the community to its Fire Station 12 Open House on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This family-friendly event offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the world of fire safety and emergency response.

Attendees can visit Fire Station 12 at 1403 Denn John Lane and meet local firefighters, participate in live demonstrations and safety education activities. Featured experiences include hands-only CPR, drowning prevention tips, hurricane preparedness, and even the chance to spray a real fire hose.

In addition to important safety education, the event will feature interactive activities for all ages, free food, giveaways, and the chance to connect with the dedicated professionals who help protect Kissimmee every day.

“The Open House is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about fire and life safety and build stronger relationships between first responders and the community,” said Fire Chief Jim Walls. “This free event is open to all, so bring your family and friends to learn, have fun, and connect with your local firefighters.”
