Winter Haven, FL – On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at approximately 4:29 p.m., the Winter Haven Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on Foxboro Lane SW. Fire crews observed heavy smoke and fire originating from the kitchen, spreading to the dining room, living room, and attic. Firefighters conducted an interior attack, controlling the fire with support from Polk County Fire Rescue via automatic aid.
The residence houses two adults and three children who were not there at the time of the incident. The home sustained significant fire and smoke damage. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced residents. The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation by the Winter Haven Fire Department.
