Volusia County, FL – On Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 9:55 PM, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on I-4 eastbound at mile marker 108 in Volusia County, Florida. The incident involved four vehicles: a 2025 Dodge Durango, a 2013 Ford Focus, a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle, and a 2020 Honda Pilot, all traveling eastbound.
The Dodge Durango changed lanes from the center to the inside lane, striking the right side of the Ford Focus. The initial collision also involved the Suzuki motorcycle. The Dodge Durango fled the scene post-collision.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 47-year-old female from Deltona, Florida, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospital. The rider of the Suzuki motorcycle, a 54-year-old male from Deltona, Florida, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Honda Pilot, a 59-year-old male from Palm Coast, Florida, and his passenger, a 60-year-old female from Palm Coast, Florida, were also pronounced deceased at the scene. The Ford Focus driver was wearing a seatbelt, the Honda Pilot driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts, and the motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet.
The Dodge Durango was later located unoccupied by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in a parking lot, showing damage consistent with the collision. The vehicle has been taken into evidence by traffic homicide investigators. The crash remains an active criminal investigation.
