Tuesday, September- Lakeland, FL – A 27-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect while riding a scooter, according to the Lakeland Police Department . The incident occurred on the 100 block of Sikes Boulevard at approximately 11:00 PM.
Officers responded to the scene and found the victim, who was able to speak with detectives. He reported being shot by an unknown individual from a dark-colored vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing. Nothing further at this time.
