On August 24, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Orlando Police officers responded to a reported domestic-related shooting at 5177 Cinderlane Parkway (Village Springs Apartments).
Upon arrival, officers located two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates one of the victims found at the scene was in a relationship with the suspect. The second victim was a friend of the deceased.
The suspect, Eliette De Jesus Marquez, fled the scene on foot but was apprehended shortly thereafter by TAC officers. He has been charged with two counts of First Degree Murder.
No additional suspects are outstanding at this time.
