Over 600 Violent Crimes Linked to Illegal House Parties in Osceola County Last Year
DAVENPORT, FL — Osceola County detectives continue to search for the shooter in the homicide that occurred at 9205 Summerset Hills Drive in Davenport early Saturday morning, April 18, 2026.
The victim has been identified by authorities as 18-year-old Daesean Anthony Moctezuma Orland, of Clermont, FL.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, three people were shot during a large gathering at the residence just after 1:00 a.m. The 18-year-old died at the hospital, while the other two victims remain in stable condition. No suspect is in custody.
Pattern of Violence at Illegal House Parties:
The Sheriff’s Office reports that more than 600 violent crimes have been linked to illegal house parties in Osceola County over the past year.
In the past seven months, the following shootings occurred at house parties:
- 9205 Summerset Hills Drive, Davenport, FL 33896 – Murder – Occurred 1:00 a.m., April 18, 2026
- 3081 Seaview Castle Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34746 – Shooting – Occurred 2:23 a.m., September 13, 2025
- 2476 Shanti Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34746 – Shooting – Occurred 1:27 a.m., March 14, 2026
Sheriff’s Office Response
Deputies have been actively patrolling and monitoring house parties for the past month. The Sheriff’s Office stated they will continue these weekend operations to identify illegal parties and disperse attendees. Deputies will enforce applicable laws related to illegal house parties.

DAVENPORT, FL — Osceola County deputies responded to a shooting at 9205 Summerset Hills Drive in Davenport just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a large gathering was underway at the residence when three people were shot. One victim was transported to a hospital, where they later died. The two other victims remain in stable condition.
No suspect is currently in custody.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office or submit tips anonymously through Crimeline. Additional details will be released as they are confirmed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
UPDATE: 04/18 5:45p – The shooting occurred at the residence of 9205 Sommerset Hills Drive, Davenport. This residence was rented as a VRBO, and a house party was taking place with an unknown number of guests.
The deceased is an 18-year-old male. The two other shooting victims are males and are listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
Currently, there are no suspects in custody, but homicide detectives believe this is an isolated incident. Detectives ask anyone with information to contact Crimeline 1-800-423-TIPS, to provide any information about this shooting.
