KISSIMMEE, FL – Dogs will have an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of swimming, playing and cooling off as the City of Kissimmee prepares to host its annual Barktoberfest event on Saturday, October 10.
Hosted by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, the event will take place at the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center, located at 2204 Denn John Lane, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event offers dogs an opportunity to enjoy the swimming pool while their owners participate in activities and browse specialty vendors. Admission is $5 per dog.
According to city officials, owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination or vaccination records before entering. All dogs will also undergo an aggression screening, and those displaying aggressive behavior may be denied entry.
